First Stitches is a special sewing class designed specifically for those who have never sewn on a sewing machine, or have very little experience.

Some of what you will learn will be:

• understanding the basic parts of a sewing machine
• how to thread a machine
• using the foot pedal
• changing presser feet
• sewing in reverse
• good pressing techniques
• pinning

You use our machines and we supply all the materials you need for the project. Anyone ages 12 and older are welcomed to attend a First Stitches Class.
